In-Kind Needs

Jump Drives: Our 4th-7th grade computer classes will use these jump drives to save their work without congesting the hard drive with their documents.

Prepackaged Snacks: All of our students from PK 3 - 7th grade will be in school from 7:45 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. We need donations of pre-packaged snacks that can be served to our students in the mid-afternoon. Suggestions are peanut butter or cheese crackers, trail mix, nuts, pretzels, goldfish or wheat thin crackers, or animal crackers.

Items for Conduct Store:    At each grade level, PK3 - 7th grade, our students earn conduct points throughout the day and "spend" these weekly to purchase items from a school store. Suggestions: small toys, school supplies, coin or change purses, decorative spiral notebooks, colorful stationary, fun pencils and pens, hair accessories, children's inexpensive watches, socks alarm clocks, art supplies, purses, back packs, wallets, small pieces of candy - excluding hard candy and gum (No toy guns, please)

Laundry Detergent: We have two sets of washers and dryers, and they run just about all day, every day. We wash the towels used by PK in naptime, blankets and sheets used with sick children, gym uniforms, and school uniforms for children whose families do not have access to laundry facilities. Our washers use HE (high efficiency) detergent of any brand.

Copy Paper: We use many reams of white 8.5x11 copy paper. We cannot have too much paper donated! We also need 8.5x11 colored and white card stock.

Belts and Ties for Boys: We need black and brown belts for boys from age 3 through 7th grade; we need ties for our Chapel/Field Trip uniform for middle school boys. The shirt they will be wearing is blue.

Recess Equipment:    Suggestions: basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, kickballs, foam footballs, playground balls, variety balls for the PK classes: bumpy balls, sensory balls, etc., giant sports balls, single jump ropes - children and adult sizes, double-dutch jump ropes, foam baseball and bat sets, beanbag games and activity sets, hula hoops, Hop Along Balls (giant Rubber Balls with handles that kids sit on and bounce)

Board Games: We use board games on days when we have to have indoor recess, and we also use them at other times as a fun way to reinforce academic skills as well as develop higher level thinking skills. Examples would be Monopoly, Sorry, Battleship, Risk, Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, Checkers, Chess, and Clue. These can be new or used, as long as all pieces are present.

First Aid Supplies: band-aides of all sizes (plain if possible - if they have superman or other designs on them every child develops a need for a band-aide!), gauze pads, digital thermometers and disposable thermometer covers, children's Tylenol, antibiotic cream, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol wipes, disposable gloves

Office Supplies:   Paper Clips, black and blue pens, sharpened pencils, post-it notes of all sizes, scissors, etc.

Shell Gas Gift Cards:   These will be given to families needing gas cards to transport their children to and from school and also can be used to purchase diesel fuel for the Yellowstone buses.

Target, MasterCard, Visa, or Kroger Gift CardsThese will be used to purchase food or other supplies for school families or to purchase general supplies, office supplies, student uniforms, etc. for Yellowstone. They will also be used to purchase supplies for cooking classes and science club in our elective classes.
